Chapter Five: Holiday The door squealed against the concrete, leaving a fresh scar shining through the dust. Two figures stepped into the thick, stale air; both were distorted with the strange protrusions and great bulbous lumps of carried equipment. One bore almost no weight and her form wept into the shadowy corners of the corridor.
